Blogger Bazaar

Looking for something to do this Sunday? Well do I have some good news for you. This Sunday, August 18th, you are invited to shop the closets of Toronto’s Fashion Bloggers! The Blogger Bazaar, presented by Aime, is your chance to get your hands on some pre-loved gems. Yesterday, The Backseat Stylers, gave us a sneak peak [via Instagram] of what they will have to offer at the event, and boy does it look good! Did I see Hermes, Alexander McQueen, annnnnd Balenciaga?

This is one special event that you aren’t going to want to miss ladies. Free up those schedules, and I’ll see you there! Xo

In love with these shots from Alexander McQueen’s Autumn/Winter 2011 Campaign. So McQueen, so amazing.

My obsession with Alexander McQueen scarves started several years ago, when I would flip through gossip magazines and see them draped around the necks of celebrities such as Mary-Kate Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Richie. Although they have been around for years now you still see them everywhere, and they still look just as fashionable as ever. Fashionistas around the world also make these scarves double as headbands, and accessories for their purses. Why not right?
Due to the steep price of these 100% silk scarves (they retail around $300) I could never justify buying myself one, not just yet anyways. So I continued to lust over them on the the Alexander McQueen Scarf Boutique, on Tumblr, and whenever I saw them in magazines.
Thanks to my amazing sister, and best friend, I received one this year for Christmas. This was the last thing that I expected to see when I tore away the tissue paper, and I don’t think I stopped smiling for hours afterwards. I’m in love with my black and white skull scarf, it is definitely now my favourite accessory. Expect to see it in many future posts xo
