Boyfriend Jeans + A Tee

Tee Apt 606 |Jeans Paige Denim | Necklace Love of Mine | Booties Steve Madden
The best way to stay comfortable this Spring? Boyfriend jeans. I could live in this pair from Paige Denim, that’s how comfortable they are. Pair them with a graphic tee [I love how busy this one from Apt 606 is] and some accessories and you are good to go. Invest in a distressed pair and cuff them at the bottom to show off a little extra skin for Spring and Summer. Xo
Happy Thursday!

Spring weather is one of my favourites. Sunshine, fresh air, and layers upon layers. This Thursday was a good one, so I layered an Alexander Wang long sleeve with a fur vest, and then threw on a pair of dark wash J Brand jeans. Add some jewelry, including my HRH bracelet [find similar here], and I was good to go. As long as the sunshine stays, I’m happy xo
I’m all about the black, white, and grey lately.
Lion Safari
As it does for most people, my style is always a reflection of my mood. I’m not saying that when I’m sad I’ll go to an extreme and deck myself out in all black everything; I just mean that if I’m feeling really feminine, I’ll throw on a skirt, orrrr if I’m feeling relaxed and in a chill mood; out come the shorts and tank. You catching my drift?
Alright, well, this one fine summer day I was in one of those “it’s too hot outside to wear anything AT ALL” moods [I’m sure you are all familiar with this one], sooo I threw on my trusty DIY studded shorts, a nice comfortable tank from Decent Urban Rails, my Cambridge satchel, and two fairly well attended arm parties.
Now, you’re probably all scratching your heads and wondering “What is this Decent Urban Rails company you speaks of?” welllll, let me tell you! Decent Urban Rails, or Du Rails for short, is a lifestyle company. One that creates rails, sponsors events, teams, and bands, and makes clothing.. like this Lion Safari tank I’m wearing here! Pretty cool hey? Du Rails makes some pretty great clothing, for all ages. I would recommend heading on over to their site to check it out when you get the chance.

xoxo

My outfit today; all light colours in an attempt to stay cool in these crazy high temperatures that Toronto has been experiencing lately. My attempt was successful as I have been outside, even riding my bike, and I was comfortable. Success! Anyways.. the lovely cute lace shorts are compliments of Zara, the tank top is a classic piece from Aritzia, and the button-up blouse is from that little ten dollar store on Queen deemed Fashion Star [Remember… the one I told you gals about a while back]. Last, but certainly not least, the bracelet is from HRH Collection.
I hope you all have a wonderful day xo
Only the Brave

My boyfriend, Marco, has littttle bit of an obsession with Diesel. OK, maybe not a little one, it’s more like a HUGE obsession. I don’t mind in the slightest though, as Diesel creates some amazing clothing for men, as well as women, especially with their Black Gold collection. The company caters to many different styles, whether it’s sophisticated, casual, or nautical, they have it all.
Marco wore this particular outfit to a family lunch last month…

My outfit of the day today!

It puts a smile on my face to know that summer is finally here (fingers crossed that it stays this time). This means you can pull out all of those beautiful maxi shirts and dresses ladies, and wear all of your brightly coloured clothing.. all at once if you want!! Don’t be afraid to push those buttons - this year colour blocking is all the rage. It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and into all of those snazzy and head-turning outfits that you never thought you would see yourself wearing.
Promise yourself one thing this summer - that you will dress for YOU xo
A before and after shot of getting ready. This is the outfit I chose for the Stoli presents Greta Constantine ‘From Sketch to Runway’ event [see below for the short documentary that was premiered at the event]. I’m head over heels in love with these pants, by Alice + Olivia, purchased on Shopbop. Perfect for dressing up, while giving you the opportunity to remain comfortable. The white shirt with the cut-out shoulders is from Zara, and the gold cuff from H&M.
