As it does for most people, my style is always a reflection of my mood. I’m not saying that when I’m sad I’ll go to an extreme and deck myself out in all black everything; I just mean that if I’m feeling really feminine, I’ll throw on a skirt, orrrr if I’m feeling relaxed and in a chill mood; out come the shorts and tank. You catching my drift?

Alright, well, this one fine summer day I was in one of those “it’s too hot outside to wear anything AT ALL" moods [I’m sure you are all familiar with this one], sooo I threw on my trusty DIY studded shorts, a nice comfortable tank from Decent Urban Rails, my Cambridge satchel, and two fairly well attended arm parties.

Now, you’re probably all scratching your heads and wondering “What is this Decent Urban Rails company you speaks of?” welllll, let me tell you! Decent Urban Rails, or Du Rails for short, is a lifestyle company. One that creates rails, sponsors events, teams, and bands, and makes clothing.. like this Lion Safari tank I’m wearing here! Pretty cool hey? Du Rails makes some pretty great clothing, for all ages. I would recommend heading on over to their site to check it out when you get the chance.

Only the Brave

My boyfriend, Marco, has littttle bit of an obsession with Diesel. OK, maybe not a little one, it’s more like a HUGE obsession. I don’t mind in the slightest though, as Diesel creates some amazing clothing for men, as well as women, especially with their Black Gold collection. The company caters to many different styles, whether it’s sophisticated, casual, or nautical, they have it all.

Marco wore this particular outfit to a family lunch last month…

Shirt + Pants + Belt: Diesel

My comfortable hump day outfit.

My comfortable hump day outfit.

New boots, new shirt, new bag.
I never go crazy with Boxing Day Shopping, it’s usually just a trip to the very small town of Port Elgin, which is close to Kincardine,  where I go every year at Christmastime to visit family. There are two stores that I always go in; Beachin’ and Casual Corners. I was very lucky this year, and found these gorgeous knee-high brown leather boots that are lined with faux fur, for only $30 at Casual Corners! Such a great deal. They are by a company called Bamboo. I’ve never heard of them before but all of the shoes I saw that were made by them were super cute.
The shirt I am wearing was another Christmas gift from my sister, purchased from Urban Outfitters. And the purse.. my gorgeous fluoro Cambridge Satchel, that I will never let out of my sight.
I wore this outfit out to meet up and catch up with a couple of friends. (Please ignore the horrible quality of this photo)

This is my friend Junior.. and this is his amazing outfit. When I saw him at school last week this was what he was wearing and, as per usual, I was blown away. He always looks so fashionable, and it seems as though his style comes to him effortlessly. Never would I have though to pair leather leggings with cut off jean shorts, but look how good it looks! The shorts are a perfect add on to this all black outfit, and all of the accessories finish it off. Some of you may already have noticed, but on his head is a Versace for H&M hat.. which is so sick. Definitely worth him setting up camp outside of the Bloor Street store at 5am the morning the collection was released.

Make sure to check out his blog (hit the link below) Six F**king Feet!
