Looks like I’m on quite the Beyonce train lately with all my posts. One would think I’m obsessing over her. But I mean, who isn’t right? Especially since her Super Bowl performance it’s been ‘All hail Queen Bey!’ But wait a minute. What about KING Bey? Yeah you heard me, King Bey.
The lucky ‘fella’ who gets to rep this name is a custom designed sneaker. Yuuupppp, a pair of shoes. The Queen herself, Beyonce, lent her expertise to the company PMK [not to be confused with the infamous Popular Mechanic’s for Kids - although, that show waaas pretty great], and together they designed King Bey. A custom designed Isabel Marant sneaker wedge. An amazing, beautiful, and exotic sneaker wedge. To be honest, these kicks couldn’t be any more exotic if they tried. Constructed of rare stingray, ostrich, calf hair, and crocodile and anaconda skins. Say whaaaaaaaaat. Gold stitched details are the finishing touches on King Bey.
If your mouth isn’t hanging open right now, go back and re-read those last couple of sentences. No one knows just how much these bad boys are going to cost, but let’s just pray to the heavens above that the price won’t be as rich as the materials the shoe is made from. xo
First off, we need to discuss how this Oscar de la Renta gown looks on Anna Dello Russo, because as far as I’m concerned it looks AMAZING.
Although you think it would be hard to draw attention away from the stunning gown, the two-piece turquoise luggage to the left of Anna does just that. The set is so nice, and I reaaallllly wouldn’t mind having it as my own. At all. It was with much delight that I discovered it is a part of Anna’s collaboration for H&M. Cha-Ching! Hitting the online store [hm.com] and stores worldwide on October 4th, the collection will feature statement jewelry, clutches, shoes and sunglasses [crocodile adorned!!]. Looks as this entire collection is going to be pretty awesome. Can’t wait xo
What happens when two absolutely amazing companies collide you ask? In this case, it means out-of-this-world SHOES. A little while back JC + BM decided to get together and create something that would leave us faithful shoppers drooling. They were so successful in doing so that almost three months after the collections release date, people [myself included] are still raving about them.
The collection includes a total of fifteen different pairs of shoes; five of JC’s iconic styles, jazzed up with three fabulous BM prints [Rainbow Galaxy, Bone Machine, and Sick of Men]. Sold exclusively on Solestruck [you can still check out the collection on Black Milk], these shoes range from approximately $190 - $240.
The amount of times that I have looked at this collection in awe is ridiculous, so I felt that it was necessary to share it with all of you, just in case there was some chance you had missed the news about it [doubtful].
So, please… enjoy the eye candy.

Looking for something a little different this fall? Than this stylish kicks are just for you. Available at Durami & Chocolate Shoes on Queen Street West in Toronto. My personal favourite? The pair of boots on the top right. So cute.
Such a cute look for the Fall and Winter seasons
Here is a first look at the Greta Constantine for Aldo Spring 2012 collection (thanks to FLARE magazine). Stunning, right? To be honest, I hadn’t even heard about this collection until today! I’m sure it will be quite successful though, as everybody swooned over the Fall/Winter 2011-2012 runway shoes, that Greta Constantine had designed for Aldo. Unfortunately those gorgeous booties and wedges were not available for purchase, they were only used on the runway, and could be requested for editorials. This means that unless you were a fashion editor or model, chances are the closet you got to the shoes was looking at pictures of them. I’m unsure whether this time around things will be different, but I have my fingers crossed that they will be! I definitely wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a pair of these white beauties.
BEST. NEWS. EVER.
I always get really excited when I hear about new collaborations in fashion, and when I read that Wildfox Couture was pairing up with Jeffrey Campbell, I couldn’t stop smiling. This is going to be one of the greatest collaborations yet, and honestly I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Wildfox Couture has been designing soft and comfortable t-shirts for carefree, easy-going women since 2007, and in the past four years has expanded their line to include dresses, leggings, and denim. Both co-founders, Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon, have been head-over-heels in love with Jeffrey Campbell shoes from the beginning and even used the infamous Lita in their runway show for their Fall 2012 collection. It only makes sense for the two companies to collaborate seeing as how both of their lines compliment each other, and they both target the same market; “bold, thrill-seeking girls”. The collaboration will include a ’90s-inspired military boot, denim platforms, a extremely high strappy heel, and an absolutely amazing pair of ballerina flatforms. The Wildfox Couture for Jeffrey Campbell collection is set to launch February 2012. Mark the date in your calendars ladies as I’m sure these shoes will be flying off the shelves!
Karen Elson for Nine West Vintage America
Karen Elson, a former model and divorcee of Jack White, has teamed up with Nine West Vintage America to create a limited edition collection of accessories and shoes. The collection has a Victorian feel to it, perfect for this seasons trends. And although it may be small, the unique style of it makes up for it. THEGHOST wedges (seen in the video above) are my favourite!
