I have quite the obsession with skulls and skeletons, as well as rings and every other piece of jewelry. Out of all of the rings and bracelets I have been in love with in the past though this one is my absolute favourite! Where in the world can I get my hands on this?
I came across it while on Pinterest the other day and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. I want one so badly!

Scout & Catalogue posted this picture today to get us excited for what’s to come in the next month. The picture worked for me! I am now counting down the days until February so that I can see the full collection of these hand-dyed and printed silk scarves. Hopefully I will be able to get my hands on a couple of them. At first glance I thought this was a regular black and white skull scarf (you can’t blame me, they are everywhere nowadays), but when I looked closer I realized just how awesome this silk scarf is. It’s not very often you see cats and butterflies paired up with skulls, but Breanna of S&C makes them flow together wonderfully.
Another thing I really love about this scarf is that it could totally be unisex. Why not right? A boy could to definitely pull it off. So, with that said, stay tuned ladies and gents, I believe this will be one collection you won’t want to miss.
New boots, new shirt, new bag.
I never go crazy with Boxing Day Shopping, it’s usually just a trip to the
very small town of Port Elgin, which is close to Kincardine, where I go every year at Christmastime to visit family. There are two stores that I always go in; Beachin’ and Casual Corners. I was very lucky this year, and found these gorgeous knee-high brown leather boots that are lined with faux fur, for only $30 at Casual Corners! Such a great deal. They are by a company called Bamboo. I’ve never heard of them before but all of the shoes I saw that were made by them were super cute.
The shirt I am wearing was another Christmas gift from my sister, purchased from Urban Outfitters. And the purse.. my gorgeous fluoro Cambridge Satchel, that I will never let out of my sight.
I wore this outfit out to meet up and catch up with a couple of friends.

My obsession with Alexander McQueen scarves started several years ago, when I would flip through gossip magazines and see them draped around the necks of celebrities such as Mary-Kate Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Richie. Although they have been around for years now you still see them everywhere, and they still look just as fashionable as ever. Fashionistas around the world also make these scarves double as headbands, and accessories for their purses. Why not right?
Due to the steep price of these 100% silk scarves (they retail around $300) I could never justify buying myself one, not just yet anyways. So I continued to lust over them on the the Alexander McQueen Scarf Boutique, on Tumblr, and whenever I saw them in magazines.
Thanks to my amazing sister, and best friend, I received one this year for Christmas. This was the last thing that I expected to see when I tore away the tissue paper, and I don’t think I stopped smiling for hours afterwards. I’m in love with my black and white skull scarf, it is definitely now my favourite accessory. Expect to see it in many future posts xo
What an awesome blouse. It would look so good unbuttoned a little and tied up at the bottom!
If anyone knows where I could find this blouse, pleaaaaase let me know.
I need to own a McQueen scarf.
